Edgar Beers

Owner, PSC Management

Edgar Beers has been CPO and Supply Chain Director within Vanderlande Industries for nine years. He is always driving towards a flexible supply chain with a focus on business alignment and people. He joined Vanderlande Industries in 2006, and before that Edgar had different management positions within Canon, in the field of procurement, project management and business development. Today, his focus is on helping companies improve and implement operational performance by focusing on the people aspect in supply chain, from a global business view. Edgar studied Organic Chemistry at Utrecht Polytechnic University, and is a passionate musician playing drums in his own band.


Rob Beukeboom

CPO, Alliander

Rob has worked for 18 years at Philips Electronics NV in several (management) functions within engineering, manufacturing and procurement. Since 10 years, he works as CPO for Alliander, the largest grid operator in the Netherlands. A yearly spend of 1 B€ goes to contractors, assets, IT, energy and various other services. Key words in his daily life are sector buying (with other grid companies), category plans and sustainability.


Jan Fokke van den Bosch

My procurement career started in 1996 at Compendium Inkoopconsultants in The Netherlands. From 2001 till 2011 I was part of A.T. Kearney’s procurement and supply chain practice, initially from London, later from Johannesburg and Amsterdam. Main clients were multinational corporates in Automotive, Manufacturing, FMCG and Financials. From 2011-2016 I was the Global Chief Procurement Officer for ING, which included also Global Real Estate. From 2015 Global facility Management was added. Since March 2016 I am the Chief Procurement Officer for HSBC, covering 80+ procurement organisations globally in Retail, Wholesale and Investment Banking

Angelique van der Burg

Head of Procurement Engineering for Personal Health businesses, Philips

Angelique van der Burg is a procurement and operations executive. She is currently Head of Procurement Engineering for Personal Health businesses at Philips. Previously, she set up the global operations for Philips LED Lamps. She led the global procurement organization for Philips Television and the procurement teams for all 14 manufacturing sites of NXP Semiconductors. Angelique holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Technology in Eindhoven and a Master of Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management. Angelique is originally from the Netherlands and has lived 11 years in Asia


Ton Geurts

Chief Purchasing Officer, Senior Vice President Supply Chain Excellence NV Bekaert SA

Ton Geurts studied Law & Business Economics. He worked at Royal DSM NV for 20 years in various managerial positions until in 2007 he was approached by AkzoNobel to set up and lead the global procurement organization, leading 800 people, 10 Bln € spend in over 200 production sites in 80 countries. In 2014 he moved to Bekaert NV, worldwide leading in wire rod transformation (30.000 employees, 85 factories, 40 countries). Reporting to the Bekaert Group Executive and responsible for Procurement & Supply Chain processes, he is influencing the steel industry to further mature in the GRI 4.0. Ton is religious and passionate for sustainability. He is a member of the International Supervisory Board of Solidaridad  and supported them from the beginning. Ton also organized the first editions of the ISMC.


Jeroen Hulsman

Director, NEVI Purspective

Jeroen Hulsman is within NEVI-Purspective (Dutch Association for Purchasing Management) responsible for Product Leadership, supporting procurement professionals and their organizations in their further professionalization. Before this, he was on the management team of the corporate procurement department for a major Dutch bank, responsible for purchasing primary goods and service. Furthermore he was responsible for procurement innovation and worked on topics such as, procurement competence development, procurement governance and the implementation of contract and supplier management. Before that Jeroen worked seven years as a business consultant for international consultancy firms on various purchasing and supply-management assignments. Jeroen holds a Bachelor degree in International Marketing and a Master degree in Business Administration.


Martijn Lofvers

Publishing Director & editor-in-chief of Supply Chain Movement and Supply Chain Magazine Martijn Lofvers is founder of Supply Chain Media, the Dutch Supply Chain Magazine (in 2006) and the European quarterly magazine Supply Chain Movement (in 2011). He is a regular speaker on the topic of Supply Chain Strategy Mindmapping at international conferences.


Jos Marinus

President of European Logistics Association and Belgian Association for purchasing and logistics

Holds a degree in applied economics and a master degree in transportation and logistics. Has more than 30 years of experience in warehousing and transportation . He held different positions in transportation and logistics in FMCG companies. Till 2012 he was the worldwide network leader for logistics for the beverages division at Danone. Previously he kept the same position for the biscuits division at the Danone group. For many years he was responsible for the worldwide logistics training of the Danone managers at the Danone campus. His field of expertise is logistics networks, logistics strategy , cost improvement programs and training and coaching of the logistic teams.

Frank Rozemeijer

Frank holds a degree in Business Economics (UvA) and worked as an assistant professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Apart from his academic work, he is active as a strategy consultant and/or executive trainer for (inter)national companies in different industries.


Peter Smith

Managing Editor, Spend Matters Europe

Peter is Managing Editor of Spend Matters Europe, part of the world’s leading family of  procurement websites. He has an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University, and worked for the Mars Group,  then was Procurement Director for Dun & Bradstreet Europe, the UK Government’s Department of Social Security, and the NatWest Group. He is a Fellow and was 2003 President of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. He has served as a non-executive director for several organizations, and his first co-authored book, “Buying Professional Services”, was published by the Economist Books in 2010.

Ton Trommelen, at present acting as President of NEVI, the Dutch Association for Purchasing and Supply Management. From 2004 till 2010 responsible  as Executive Vice President and Chief Purchasing Officer and member of the DSM Leadership Council for Purchasing and Supply Management of DSM. This following a career within the Purchasing Competence of Philips Electronics, working in Divisional and Corporate functions, finally as Senior Vice President and Chief Purchasing Officer of Philips Semiconductors, including international assignments in the UK and Hong Kong. Member of the Leadership Group of Philips Electronics and the Management Council of Philips Semiconductors.


Derek Wallace

Vice President & Head of Procurement, ASML Holding

Derek Wallace has held senior executive positions in multiple global companies, including CPO of Philips Semiconductors, subsequently NXP. He joined ASML in 2008 and currently heads its Global Procurement organization. Through advanced lithography solutions, ASML enables all of the world’s top chipmakers to manufacture ever smaller, more powerful and energy efficient chips. Derek’s organization sources and industrializes the high-tech subsystems for ASML products, while continuously assessing the supplier ecosystem to be able to bring knowledge, innovation and performance at increasingly demanding levels. Levels which are sometimes years ahead of industry norms.


Jeroen Wegkamp


Jeroen Wegkamp holds master degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration. He worked 10 years as management consultant and interim manager. After that he held leadership positions in finance and procurement. Since September 2013 he is CPO of NS (Dutch Railways). Jeroen Wegkamp advocates continuous improvement of the supply chain function as well as sustainable procurement and does so by e.g. chairing the CPO Committee of large (Dutch) organisations.
