A thrilling opening of the International Supply Management congress

On November 22nd we organized the 6th International Supply Management Congress (ISMC) at the World Trade Center Rotterdam. It was the first edition of a new series of 5 annual congresses with a mission: “Supply Management 2020: Making the shift happen!”.

The day started with a thrilling opening of the congress: three powerfull women on stage! In this animated debate, moderator Rens de Jong tries to find the secrets of Procurement 2020 and essential perspective on success. Rens was interviewing and challenging those 3 outspoken and inspiring professionals: How to become and stay meaningfull, connected and especially future-proof? What makes Supply Management and Purchasing future-proof?

  • Kate Vitasek, Lead researcher University of Tennessee and author, educator and architect of the Vested business model
  • Mara Swan, Vice chair World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Gender Parity and EVP Global Strategy and Talent, ManpowerGroup
  • Patricia Moser, Director Procurement Group of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)

With BuzzMasters, Rens de Jong created an energetic interaction during the event. Everyone in possession of a smartphone can join. It could not be any easier: two clicks and everybody was connected!
